Motat

On wednesday the 13th of may Room 7 students went on a field trip to MOTAT. Initially I had to hand out the name tags so that the public or other people can know our names and can know that everybody is here and that we don't leave anybody behind.  After, when all the name tags were empty we all have to get our bags and head to the hall so that Mrs Parker can put room 7 student into groups . when we all were in groups we all have to head off to the bus so that we can go . First Room 9 went to the bus first follow by , room 10 and then 7 . once we were all in the bus we headed of to the MOTAT place, that stands for Museum Of Transport And Technology . Once we were there we were waiting  for Katharine our educator to take us to our place to meet , eat and go.  When we were all there Katharine told us before eating she will just give us ideas were the toilet is and where we put our rubbish. And when she was finished we were  eating our lunch and then got into our groups . So in my group i had Ms Card , Nirvana ,  Salesi , Fasi , Amelia , Shannon , Trent and me (Whitney).

First  we went to was to the boat and ship engines so that we  can know what they do in the olden days to there  ship and boat to keep them going . After that we went to the telecommunication to see how they use to use their phone in there days . When we were there we had so much fun because you have the phones on the wall and if one person picks one up and the other pick the other one up you can hear the other person talking to you . After our fun mrs card told us that we were going to go to the fire engine plas  and cars to see what it looks like . when we arrived there we were so excited because the fire engerd was so big and did not have any roof for when they drive . so when we had a little look we went to the olden days shops and then to the pump and to the stock . after those three things we went to the church to see how big it is and small it is . After the church we went to the olden days cars and to see which one is the oldest and the yogis . when we were in there meselesi were in one car and shannon and trent were in the other we were also having so much fun because we were pretending that we were driving the car . and when we were walking around we were beeping the horns and the car beep. After that we went to the mirror maze so that our group can  have a little scream . After the mirror maze we went to the game room for a short while so that we can go to the tram . when we arrived at the tram we all were hoping on to the tram and went . and then after the tram ride we went to have some lunch and then went on our way home.

Basketball recount

talofa lava , malo lah , fakaalofa atu , kia ora  and greetings to you all. On Tuesday the 5th of May room 7 class went to play basketball with coach channel . The first thing we did was to do a warm up by getting a ball and twisting it around your body and dogging it around your legs. The next thing we did was to play Dribble Tag . That game started of how to dribble when you are fast walking to tag your teammate and if your tag your teammate will have to do one star jump and then  try to get you. After  the Dribble Tag game we had to moved on to the next game and that game was Ship , Shark, Shore,  and that game was about how to Dribble the ball when you are running to the end of the courts and  when you are in the middle of the courts . when everybody was so tired coach channel ack people if we would like to go for  a drink and room 7 student said yes. After when everyone had a drink coach channel said we are  going to play another game that is called  octopus but a different kind of octopus . when coach channel said that she explain to us how to play it. When we all get it there were so much taggers that we were going to try to get the other people that is trying to get the other room 7 student on the front of the courts .  when we started the game it got so evis because people in room 7 are so fast to get to the other side when we are dogging the ball . But when people were on the other side of the courts none of them got tagd because the ball keeps on going fast when we were bouncing the ball. After the octopus game it was time for the sores and the sword coach channel gave us was a 7 out of 10.

and then we all went back to class.

ANZAC cookies

the ingredients you will need is:

• one and a half cups of flour
• one and a half cups of coconut
• one and a half cup of oats
• ¾  cup of brown sugar
• 180 grams of butter
• 3 tablespoons of golden syrup
• ¾ teaspoon of baking soda

How to make anzac cookies

1. Wash your hands
2. preheat the oven to 180 degrees
3. get all the ingredients you need to make anzac cookies .
4. melt golden syrup and butter in a microwave safe bowl
5. mix coconut, oats, flour, and brown sugar all together in a large mixing bowl
6. then  mix 2tbsp of hot water with ¾  teaspoon  of baking soda
7. Then mix  butter and baking soda together with dry ingredients
8.  after that roll up in to a ball and make sure it is 30 because the recipes say that that is how much you will need
9. and then place the anzac cookies on to the baking paper so that it is reading to be baked

Reflection:

When i first took my first bite of the anzac cookie it was so yum and delicious it was nice and hot and so soft for me to eat. I was also surprised that the anzac cookies were so easy to make . I  actually thought that anzac cookies were going to be hard to make until now .

Dear Miss Elia

I would like to nominate my mum Ruth for the Mothers Day Duffy Book Awards because she is so adorable, beautiful and her smile is just the right look on her face. All the time when she looks at us it just seems so nice to see her that way. She also does everything for us,  since ten years has passed. I also like the way she always asks us if we have any difficult homework so that she can help us with the hard questions and give us information.

I also like the fact that she likes to make different flavors that she can put into the pasta for dinner. She also works very hard on her job OSCARs, but to spend a lot of money on the activities she has to do .
