This is a presentation, Me, Whitney and my friend Shannon created about environment sustainability life without trees. We're going to present it in the hall to the students in glenbrae school. 

Last day of tennis

Today was the very last day of tenni. It was really great having Campbell our tennis coach to during us the term. I really did enjoy having to take time on having to participate and have fun playing tennis this year. It was really grateful Campbell visit us and hopefully had fun with us as well. Lets just see if campbell during us later on this year.  

Me and my class really enjoy going outdoors to play tennis with campbell. We learned a lot of  new skills and watch glenbrae students vurst each other. We cheer, clap and laugh during the time.

For a while campbell had us using tennis balls that were squishy and soft. But came a day campbell allowed us to use actual tennis balls, that were hard and not soft.

The brainstorm tells me, different meaning to sustainability means. The brainstorm also tells me what i should include in my maze games. 

Moana Presentation

I have Been Learning how to cod using Hour of Code. The Skills that i Have Learnt including using the Move Forward Block, Repeat Block, And the fish Block in the code game Moana.

1840 and Maori and the British wanted the treaty

Maori perspective 

Maori chiefs were fighting among themselves. Queen Victoria offered the treaty so there will be law and order in the land. Maori also wanted the new technology brought in by the settles such as farming tools, weapons, tobacco and alcohol.

Some Maori were worried about the behaviour of some settlers especially in Russell. The Maori wanted law for the settlers so they could behave.

British perspective

For years the missionaries tried to encourage the Maori to form their own government and state. The chiefs could not come to an agreement themselves and so the treaty brought them together.

The British wanted to protect their place in New Zealand because they had more than 2000 settlers already living in New Zealand. They also did not want the French to take over. That is why the treaty needed to be written and signed urgently.

The Worst Accident Ever

On a fine Saturday Morning, was my Birthday. Today I was turning 11. I always beg my Parents to get me a Laptop. But not any original Laptop. A, Apple Laptop. My parents will always tell me that a Apple Laptop is way two expensive. They will always tell me to get something more cheaper than a Laptop. But all I say, is Apple Laptop, Apple Laptop, Apple Laptop. There's is Nothing Else that I want for my Birthday Besides a Apple Laptop “ I say.

Their was only two more days till my Birthday. Me my Mum and dad where going to the shopping Mall. Walking around the Mall was getting better and better seeing a lot of Cool thing. We then went into the Laptop Store and had a quick look around, before heading out. I then saw a Apple Laptop, so clean, shinning thin and big.

I felt like fainting but I couldn’t. Mum and dad were talking to the shop Keepers letting me browse around the laptop. While Mum and Dad were chatting I then decided to do a really Bad thing. Steal. I Stole the Laptop hiding it in my strip bag pretending to have a book. Once we left the store we headed home. Arriving to our house, I got out of the car straight away, and went straight inside with out helping Mum and  Dad carrying all the things in.  

Up stirs in my room was really Nervous for me incase, Mum or Dad Walks in seeing me with a laptop. Playing on my Laptop all happy was one of the best moments for today. Hearing Mum calling my name out, saying “Come down for Dinner. I then went down with a big smile dipping my fork into the pasture eating with enthusiasm.

After eating a delicious meal, i went straight up into my room and carried on to what i was doing . Once my eyes were tired and lazy i then went to sleep leaving my laptop besides me. During that morning was one day less till my Birthday. But Oupps. Who do I see standing their. My parent, holding the laptop in their hands with a mad unhappy face. I Pulled myself up and tried to defend myself by say where did that come from.

They then hold me by the arms and carefully walked me down stairs. Me being down stairs with them was really scared to what their going to say then. They Both started to ask me all these hard case questions such as, Where did you get this,Explain to me how you managed to get this, You no all those sort of things.

After chatting for a very long time, I was grounded,  For about three to four Months. Once an hour or so was past Mum, Dad and I we all the way back to the mall and Explained everything that happened. We then we charge from the Police and truly apologized to the shop epper for all the trouble.

Term 4 Kiwi Can

For today's session room 8 student went to Kiwi Can. In Kiwi Can we talked about the 5 Values. Honesty, Truth, Integrity, Respect and caring. After learning about the values we then went on to our Energiser. This Energiser had to be played outside. The Game was called Values Vs No Values. After our Energiser we all went back inside, And talked about the values of school. After having a chat about the Values we then went on to our Activity, Called Skit. The skit had related to our school values and how we show the person what they need to do right.
