Season happen throughout the year.

Autumn is the time of the year when leaves change colour. Autumn is one of the four season on earth. The colour of autumn leaves are red, yellow and brown. The start of autumn is when leaves started to fall of trees and that's why autumn called fall. Once autumn here other people will started to wear sweaters, warm tracksuit pants, and sleeved t shirts. The earth axis is tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees away from the plane of the ecliptic.

World trip to google

On Tuesday the 24th of November Room 7 from Glenbrae School went on a world trip to Google down at Room 3. We went down first thing after the roll. By the time we were at Room 3 we had to wear a box phone that can be used as glasses. Once a picture came up it felt like I was trapped in a volcano that was about to  erupt. The Favorite part of my picture for me, for the day, was when I was under the sea and on top of the Earth. When I was under the sea I could see a giant turtle and a humongous ship that had  just sunk all by itself. And when I was on top of earth I was overjoyed because I could see everything up in space.

On Thursday the 3rd of December Room 7 from Glenbrae School were trying a Delightful tasty Chocolate. The Chocolate we had was be given from the Whittaker that was given to Mrs Parker. When I took my first bite It felt like a storm, pouring rain that was trapped in my mouth. After the first bite I went for a second bite that was sensational, delicious and beautiful. After the second bite, I had a good quick think about what the chocolate might of taste like, what it smelt like and how light it was.

The chocolate that I ate tasted a bit more like a dark chocolate that was mixed in with rock hokey pokeys and little bits of small poppy candy. Once I finished thinking about what the candy might of taste like I moved on to what the candy might of smelled like. When I smelt the candy it was the same as before it was still dark chocolate and now I was starting to think whether it's hokey pokey or dark chocolate.

After the smell of the Candy I moved on to see how light the candy was And it might actually be as light as a folded milk carton and as light as a raisin box with raisins in it.

If I was allowed to Create a Chocolate it will be a cookie and berry nuggets with milk chocolate.

Ingredients ?

Recipe

½ Cups of sugar

¼ Cup of glucose                                                                                                                                      

½ Cup of butter                                                                                                                          

2 ½ Cup of whole milk    

400 grams of quality Whittaker’s Milk Chocolate                                                                 

2 ½ cups of cookies ( mash the cookies)

(Any Cookie you want)

1 cups of dried berry nuggets

Method

Melt chocolate in a bowl over a bowl of hot water.

add your ingredients in (cookies and dry berry nuggets)

stir until chocolate is mixed,

put into a moulds then popp it into the fridge.

leave for 2 ½ hours till it is set and ready to eat!

Whitney fun day with students from tamaki

On Tuesday the 1st of December Room 7 from Glenbrae School and other classes were asked to lie up on the courts. Once all classes headed to the courts we sat down into, two lines, boys and girls. When everybody was there we were told to be divided into groups to be even and fair for other Children.  

When we were in groups, we all headed of to the field to get started and have a lot of fun outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful day of sunshine.

Once we were sorted for sports, the first thing my group did was a quick activity of Octopuses to make a good and comfortable warm up.

The second activity we did was called chain, which was the best of all that we did. What you had to do during the game was, there was only allowed one tagger that will come around to try and tag you and if they tag you, you will have to chain up with them arm to arm and do it over and over again, until everybody is out.

After the second activity we moved on to play touch which didn't last long but might of last for about 10 minutes. In a while it started to get boring  so we decided to play some relays. When we sorted our places, coach told us to get reading said and GO.

When our time was up, all groups went back on to the courts with enjoyment and were very happy that they had visited us.

Stardome

At glenbrae school all classes have be learning about the solar system and different sorts of planets. It was thursday, the day for us to head off to Stardome. The first classes to go on the trip, was Room 10, 9, 8 and 7. On our way to the bus we were happy, excited and overjoyed. When we got to Stardome, first thing we had to do was have our morning tea so we don't feel hungry and thirsty while listening to the educator, watching what the lady telling us

Once we all finished eating, room 7 and 8 went into the space room, to learn all about the solar system and how the earth orbits the sun. Once our time was up for the space room we had a quick look around to see what kind of space exhibitions there were. A moment later we got called out because we had to go to another room which I call It the studio room. The studio room was my favorite because we got to relaxs on these comfortable chairs while, watching the movie, it was comfortable enough that I could slept.

Once the movie was up we went back outside beside the park so we can finish our lunch and have fun playing on the flying fox and octopus.

When it was time for us to go back to school we felt so tired and boiling hot that we were happy and grateful that we went on this  trip.

What I did in the holidays

During the fun days of the holidays i enjoyed using my time wisely, having fun with my cousins, one is younger  and the other older than me .I also like the fact that they had a lot of fun with us and appreciate the things we did .What they really enjoyed the most was bounced beyond .It is a place where there are a lot of bouncy castles.We went there to have a lot of fun and make the most of it. When we got there our minds were blown away to see such a bounce world like that. Once we walked in, there was a counter lady that served us. When you pay you get your very own color badge.

After we payed we went sprinting off like a cheater seeing which bouncy castle we will go on first. We chose the long slide that was a bit scarier  than I thought it would be.

When I was at the top  all I saw was an amazing bounce world so colorful and it made my eye shine so bright like a shooting star in the sky .After I went down I headed of to the wrecking ball which was my favorite out of all the bounce beyond castles .

Before I went on to any other castle, I looked around to see how many castles were there and there were 11 castles .

After I had enough of wrecking the big ball I hopped off and went on the rock climbing. That was really slippery and scary . It was scary because if you drop it won't hold you, it will stop halfway for you to climb to the top and to climb back down.

When it was my turn I had to wear a Mountaineering Harness so I don't get hurt if I slip or if i want to get down .

When my turn was up I went to the color castles where my little siblings,little cousin, older cousin and older brothers and sisters were .They were playing in the bubble ball having a lot of fun .

When it was past three o’clock we had to leave because we had to do other things for my sister Erinas camp .So once we were getting ready to go we had a little snack ,  a delicious Sandwich that my mum made, Crackers, Chips and some water to drink . After lunch we walked out the door and said to each other wasn't that enjoyable .

Hero Story

On a raining storming day Kamila a head chef lady was wanting to go to pak ‘ n save so she can get some delicious main course food. Meanwhile something had been wrong because there was a shopkeeper unpacking the bread and pizza bread looking really schering.

Once Kamila was going towards him she suddenly dropped her hand bag by rushing her trolley fast. When her bag fell the man that was unpacking help her pick up her things and put something into her bag.

While he was helping her the shopkeeper said are you ok in a schering freaking voice of his and kamila said yes i’m fine thanks.

When kamila went to go pay her shopping food she still didn't notices that something was in her pockets zip. When she was about to walk out of the shops suddenly there was a big distracting nose which meant she was taking something she didn't pay for.

Wants that nose carried on the security man told her to step aside so he can check if she was taking something or not. When the security man was still checking her, kamila was so worried that she might be late to the final challenge which started in an hour.

So kamila looked around to see what was really going on and she fought out that there was something in her bag and the shop keeper walked out of the shop and said enjoy your finals. So kamila said that the shopkeeper that helped me with my bag and he must of put something in it.

So the next day the shopkeeper went into work and their were polices waiting for him to take him away. As so Kamila made it to her final on time with a very happy face.

We all love to learn wonderful work and love to learn more thing about sports like soccer, netball, and also basketball. We also love to learn about how we use our chrome netbooks and what we should be doing on them.

We also have sports teachers that will always come every Tuesday to help us practice our skills of sports.

And they have tort us a lot of opportunity that helped us play as will as we could at all tournaments.

What glenbrae student do when they are at school is listen when the teacher is talking and when other visitor come and talk to us about how wonderful we learn and how awesome our principle is and how she can get everything organised.

Glenbrae school is the best because we all get to yours netbooks which is proble more easier for us to use and get to have free time on it. Glenbrae school can sometimes organise their self and get thing through with. Other people that are really smart and good will always help other people with their learning and help other when they need help.

Our Daily Fitness

This morning the room 7 students went outside to practise for our cross country. The first thing we did was a quick warm up and Mrs Parker told the girls to line up in a line and jog around the school field 2 times and the boys had to do the same thing as the girls.  We were all running on swishing, yucky mud even my shoes were dirty. I felt tired, thirsty, sore and lost a lot of energy because I ran around the field twice. My ankles were sore even my heart was beating really fast. After that we went back to class and I felt really warm.

hexagonal prism, Face , Edges and Vertices

I really enjoyed learning about 3D shapes and creating a hexagonal box.Mrs Raj taught us how to measure and make a net to create a 3 dimensional shape. I cut around my net and made the hexagonal prism

My hexagonal prism has 8 faces, 18 edges and 12 verticesBoxes are made to hold or store things. Boxes are used for packaging. I might use my box to store my earrings.

Whitney Character Description

long blond hair but it looks a bit frizzy blue eye conta short finger nail a beautiful smile  and a fit body. She is also a woman that likes to enjoy her working job at the university and she is a teacher that teaches there. also 38 and all ways shops for herself. Also she is cool helpful and always excited about things. She never let people or her students down and will pay a tension to their student when they are asking question to her. She is also a bright person that does not like men and likes to dance to the music in her car. As so she does karate and love to ask her friends if they want any help with their moves . And she is Also as tall as a stick.

AGREE	I agree because drugs and alcohol can damage your body really bad that you might have a really sore pins and needles in you leg when you can not move you body when you do not feel like moving . And also alcohol and drugs can over dose your body when you drink too much then smoke drugs or cigarettes .

People react differently in emergencies.
AGREE	I agree because i see a lot of emergencies on movies sometimes on the road and on road trips and they all right to me but not ok to the ambulance people .

4. accident, accident  means you fell down and hurt yourself which you will call it an accident  or a car crash that is an accident, but it was not on purpose.

What things do you think may have caused the motorbike bike accident?  I think that the accident had happened  when the motor bike  was trying to not hit the truck because they were heading towards each other and that the motor bike must of curved into some place and the motor bike exploded. and before that had happened uncle eru and koro had an argument about uncle eru because uncle eru keep on drinking alcohol and taking drugs and smoking cigarettes and he wouldn't stop and that what course the argument .

What should Uncle Eru have done instead of driving off after his argument with Koro?  He should of just ignore him, walk away so that things don't get worser and worser .

A morale is a hidden meaning or purpose behind a story…. What is the morale of this story?  Morale of this story is the, the things that is bad for people like let me say DRUGS if people take to much drugs and they end up in hospital that can kill that because drugs can over dose people body. Also ber which it Alcohol can kill you as will like if you say when i take drugs drink alcohol and smoke weed or cigarettes and go driving around the streets or in town you might feel dizzy and might end up falling asleep while you are driving you might crash in to a house or into a working place in town .

Government takes over Mt Eden Prison

The Government has announced that it will be taking control of Mt Eden Prison, after loosing faith in its private security contractor Serco. The Corrections Department will be taking over the prisons day-to-day  operations after a series of incidents captured NZ media for all the wrong reasons.

The media content captured (which was shared online) sparked several complaints which were based upon a lack of authority executed by Serco guards leading to the internal organising of fights, attainment of contraband and the recent horrific death of an inmate.

Minions Information

Characters from the movie Despicable Me,minions Kevin and Stuart have been spotted in a local paddock. The 2.5 metre tall minions are made of hay bales, paint and tyres.
