The author’s mother taught them to sew
Agree	The reason why i go with agree is because maybe after many years she had tried on the jersey and when she tried it on it was too small for her to wear and she thought that she will make her own  .

Many cook island people wear coats like the writer’s mother wore.
Disagree	I disagree because cook island people won't particularly wear a coat on stage but they will wear a flower on there head and the same flower dressers also the men that will wear a different color lavalava .

7. peering , Peering  is folds , peering can be between parties  bypassing and parts . Also peering can be someone or something like if i say he tried to peer through the fog

8. slenderness , slenderness will have to mean she was slender as a willow

9. belied , This word means you are fall to give true notion or impression
